Our Model

Our primary business activities that support our social investment policy are the acquisition, exploration and production of our upstream assets, infrastructure and storage facilities (tank farm, pipelines, re-gasification plants etc.) as well as the trading and transportation of hydrocarbons.

Our business model is to operate as a fully integrated entity across the entire value chain of the oil and gas industry. In the upstream, we intend to operate our pioneer asset in a safe and sustainable manner that delivers long-term value to investors and stakeholders with the least impact on the environment. We will gradually expand our upstream investment portfolio across Africa in predominantly large-scale gas and oil projects. We aim to explore cleaner sources of energy and in this regard are focusing on developing our natural gas fields as a cleaner source of energy. We intend for our Gas to be utilized primarily for power generation and be a part of Africa’s industrial revolution and economic transformation.

In the downstream, we are focused on safe, efficient, effective and reliable delivery of crude oil and petroleum products to all our customers as well as alternative fuels. While in oilfield services we are continuously building our technical expertise and forming partnerships that increase our market share.

In our external relations and operations, we exhibit behaviors that showcase our values and promote fairness and transparency. In line with our social investment policy, we integrate achievement of our core sustainable development goals into our operations. We are strong proponents of gender equality and local content.
